For over five decades, Tom immersed himself in the world of grain merchandising and marketing. He spent his career navigating the complexities of the agricultural supply chain, learning exactly what farmers need and what drivers require to get the job done right.
Retirement to Innovation:
After retiring from the grain trade in 2022, Tom realized that his passion for the industry hadn't faded—it had simply evolved. He saw a need for a leasing company that understood the unique demands of agricultural hauling.
In 2023, he established Stateline Leasing LLC in Harmon, Illinois. By combining his 50 years of "boots-on-the-ground" grain experience with a new, focused leasing model, Tom has created a business that treats owner-operators like partners, not just contractors.
